About The Position

This is a full-time Registered Nurse position in the Medical Surgical unit (3 West Surgical) at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The role requires 36 hours per week and is eligible for benefits. The position focuses on providing holistic patient care, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition, and utilizing electronic medical records. It emphasizes strong communication, interpersonal skills, critical decision-making, and effective time management in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing.
  • 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. over the head.
  • Ability to carry.
