About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical surgical unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role requires clinical expertise, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The position is located on a 32-bed general medical inpatient unit, which manages a variety of patient diagnoses including respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. The unit also provides care for dialysis patients, those with sepsis, and other infections.
Requirements
- Current AHA BLS certification required at time of submission.
- Valid KS or multistate nursing license without any restrictions or hits.
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care medical/surgical nursing experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- First-time travelers are not accepted.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Document patient information and care interventions using the Epic charting system.
- Participate in unit-wide quality improvement initiatives.
