About The Position
This is a night shift Registered Nurse role on our vibrant Med/Surg Unit, perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic hospital setting and want to broaden their expertise while making a meaningful impact in our community. Our busy Medical/Surgical Unit at Porter Medical Center is welcoming night shift RNs who are passionate about exceptional patient care and eager to expand their clinical experience. Porter offers high-acuity, fast-paced hospital nursing that keeps your skills sharp and your nights meaningful. Our Med/Surg unit cares for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients, giving you the opportunity to practice a broad range of nursing skills.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- BLS required
- ACLS required for specific departments
- At least 1 year of hospital RN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care on a busy Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Practice a broad range of nursing skills caring for medical, surgical, chronic, and progressive care patients.
- Work effectively in a dynamic hospital setting.
