About The Position

This position involves leading patient care plans by implementing, monitoring, and adapting individualized care strategies to ensure optimal recovery and comfort. The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, serving as the central point of contact between physicians, specialists, and support staff to deliver seamless, well-coordinated patient care. The nurse will advocate for patients by assessing, recording, and proactively communicating changes in health status to the medical team to ensure timely interventions. Additionally, the role involves executing medical orders precisely, transforming physician and nursing directives into safe, high-quality bedside care, and championing discharge planning early by collaborating with the healthcare team to prepare patients and their families for a safe, smooth transition back to their homes.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
