Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ASN, or BSN)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

ACLS and PALS preferred
At least 1 year of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and evaluate care for medical-surgical patients while ensuring safe, compassionate, high-quality treatment from admission to discharge.
Work closely with physicians and care teams to develop individualized care plans aligned with hospital policies and clinical standards.
Deliver high-quality direct and indirect patient care.
Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial condition appropriately.
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status or treatment response.
Collaborate closely with physicians, Nurse Managers, and interdisciplinary teams and communicate critical updates, diagnostic results, and patient concerns in real time.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Support a safe, clean, and organized care environment.
Assist with unit needs, including supporting and guiding LPNs, CNAs, and new nursing staff.
Perform Patient Care Technician and Unit Coordinator functions as needed.
Uphold hospital policies, safety standards, and service excellence expectations.
