About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity acute care hospital setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical support, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
- Minimum 18 months of prior permanent experience in specialty required
- Active state RN license or compact license required at time of submission
- BLS (AHA or equivalent)
- ACLS (AHA or equivalent)
- NIHSS
- Strong ECG rhythm interpretation skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Adapt to rotating shifts and varying unit needs
