About The Position

This position involves evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. The role requires delivering excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. The Registered Nurse performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice. This role also promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are hiring for Full Time Night Shift positions on the 4N Med-Surg/Telemetry Unit (19-bed unit with telemetry cardiac monitoring) and the 2 South Med-Surg/Telemetry Unit (30-bed unit with telemetry cardiac monitoring). Frequent diagnoses include cardiovascular, respiratory, diabetes, and infectious processes for medical patients, and a variety of surgical specialties for surgical patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• PA Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License
• BLS
• ACLS
