About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg & Specialty Units for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- BLS certification
- Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams prior to start
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care Med/Surg experience
- Strong English communication skills
Nice To Haves
- BSN and ACLS preferred
- Cardiac: ACLS, telemetry, post-cath/post-op cardiac experience
- Oncology/Stroke/Palliative: Chemotherapy/biotherapy experience preferred
- Surgical/Dialysis: Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilated patients
- Ortho/Neuro/Post-Op: Orthopedic or neuro experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver and document comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Communicate effectively with care teams and support staff
- Serve as a resource for patient care, staff orientation, and education
- Utilize electronic medical record systems
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and professional development activities
