About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro ICU to join an adult Neuro Intensive Care Unit for a night-shift contract assignment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care expertise, prior Neuro ICU experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN license
- BLS certification (current or able to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of Neuro ICU experience (required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
Nice To Haves
- Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- Travelers must have experience in facilities of equal or greater size and acuity
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neurological patients
- Conduct accurate and timely patient assessments in an acute care setting
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document care accurately using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and protocols
