About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – IV / Vascular Access Specialist for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process while maintaining accurate and timely documentation Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Administer medications and monitor patient responses Perform venipuncture and provide vascular access care, including peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities as assigned Utilize electronic medical records and nursing informatics systems effectively Serve as a clinical resource for staff education, orientation, and patient teaching Participate in unit meetings and required educational programs Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety and infection control policies Maintain records of ongoing professional development and continuing education Stay current with pediatric and newborn care standards, techniques, and hospital policies Represent the organization professionally while maintaining patient confidentiality Deliver service excellence to patients, families, visitors, and colleagues Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Successful completion of hospital pharmacology requirements
  • Demonstrated proficiency in intravenous therapy, including peripheral IV placement for pediatric and newborn patients (within the past 6 months)
  • PICC placement proficiency required within 1 year
  • IV Certification (CRNI) required within 2.5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PICC line insertion and ultrasound-guided PIVs preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
