About The Position

The 3 Palm Med/Surg Cardiac Telemetry Team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. This role involves delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The floor contains 36 private beds and cares for patients with a variety of medical issues including mild cardiac issues, COPD, antibiotic therapy, diabetes, liver conditions, pneumonia, renal failure, and more. Patients may also be awaiting or recovering from surgical interventions such as orthopedic, bowel, and other general surgical procedures. The team also sets up and runs Peritoneal Dialysis for patients throughout the hospital. Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
At least 6 months of RN experience (not for new grads).
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities
