About The Position

Community Health Network is expanding to a new campus in Westfield, opening in Spring 2027. This new campus will offer a full range of care options, including advanced critical care for adults and newborns, and outpatient services focused on wellness and prevention. Community Health Network emphasizes a "community" approach, ensuring caregivers can learn and grow to provide exceptional care. The Registered Nurse will manage patient care across the healthcare continuum, aiming for optimal outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner. This role requires collaboration, delegation, and resource management skills. Specifically in Maternity, the RN will provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment. Orientation and training may occur at various Community Health Network locations, including Indianapolis, Anderson, and Kokomo. Successful candidates should be adaptable, clinically versatile, and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• 1 year of RN experience in Maternity required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network.
• Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
