About The Position

Join Community Health Network as we expand to our new campus in Westfield! This new healthcare campus, slated to open in Spring 2027, will enhance our ability to provide exceptional care in central Indiana, offering a full range of care options from critical care for adults and newborns to integrative outpatient services. Community Health Network, created by our neighbors for our neighbors over 60 years ago, prioritizes our dedicated caregivers' growth and development to ensure top-tier patient service. The Registered Nurse will manage patient care across the healthcare continuum, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and optimal outcomes. This role requires strong skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management. Specifically, the RN in Maternity will provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment. Orientation and training may occur at various Community Health Network locations, including Indianapolis, Anderson, and Kokomo. We seek candidates who are eager to learn, adaptable, clinically versatile, and committed to a collaborative culture focused on exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• 1 year of RN experience in Maternity required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network.
• Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
• Provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment.
