This role involves monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, and collaborating with the care team to influence care outcomes. The RN upholds and promotes a culture of safety, continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, and may administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely. Effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution are key, as is fostering team collaboration and appropriate delegation. The position requires adherence to ethical practices, continuous professional development, and accurate EHR documentation. RNs may be required to float to other units to meet patient care needs and must demonstrate age-specific competency in patient care.
