This position functions as a second-line administrative supervisor (third-level clinical direction) of a limited work area directing the activities of resident care staff in a Psychiatric facility. As part of their managerial responsibilities this position must plan, develop, and implement and provide preceptorship of registered nurses, and establish a robust nursing program. This position encompasses identifying and monitoring staff development needs, maintaining records, preparing reports, overseeing corrective actions within the department, approving time and attendance, and conducting performance evaluations for assigned staff. This is a Drug and Alcohol-tested (DART) position under the criteria provided in the collective bargaining unit agreement. All positions are subject to criminal background checks and fingerprinting.
