About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse Manager specializing in Cardiovascular care at Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS. The position is full-time and operates on a day schedule. Via Christi associates are eligible for tuition discounts and priority placement in select healthcare programs through their academic partnership with Wichita State University.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

While the core schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm, there is a need for operational flexibility to meet the needs of the department.

Act as the primary "problem-solver," identifying and removing barriers that impact patient flow and care delivery.
Design and implement the policies and procedures that define how care is delivered, ensuring every process is both lean and effective.
Manage the unit’s financial health, overseeing budget compliance and expenditures with a strategic eye on sustainability.
