About The Position
NHC HealthCare Dickson is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. This weekday night-shift opportunity allows you to provide high-quality nursing care while working closely with nursing leadership and the interdisciplinary team. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Tennessee, or a current multistate/compact license that permits practice in Tennessee.
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Current CPR certification as required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, and established nursing standards.
- Assess patient and resident needs and monitor for changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Complete required nursing documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate changes in condition to physicians, nursing leadership, and appropriate members of the care team.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized plans of care.
- Provide direction and support to nursing assistants and other assigned nursing staff as appropriate.
- Follow infection control, safety, regulatory, and NHC policies and procedures.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
