About The Position

Maplewood at Mayflower Place Skilled Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to assist the Director of Nursing with the overall implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services at the Community. The starting rate is $40 per hour for LPNs and $43 per hour for RNs, with shift differentials of $1 to $6 per hour. The role involves supervising CNAs, administering medication, conducting skilled nursing assessments, providing treatments, documenting skilled care, and communicating with residents, families, staff, physicians, and outside providers. Requirements

Currently licensed as an RN or LPN to practice in Massachusetts.
Two years of full-time or full-time-equivalent clinical experience.
Experience and/or special interest working with older adults.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
Good physical and emotional health and freedom from communicable diseases.
Successful completion of pre-employment screening, including background check, drug screening, and reference checks.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Nursing with implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services.
Supervise CNAs to ensure quality care is provided.
Administer medications, conduct skilled nursing assessments, and provide treatments.
Demonstrate competency in foley catheters, PICC lines, feeding tubes, and wound care.
Complete skilled care documentation.
Communicate proactively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and outside providers.
