Cardiac Cath/ Holding Area – Registered Nurse Level 1, Inpatient
About The Position
The Cardiac Cath/Holding Area Registered Nurse Level 1 is a new graduate nurse with less than one year of experience who, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, continues to build competency in providing direct patient care. The nurse contributes to unit activities, supports improvements to the unit-level care delivery system, and supports peers in delivering patient care services. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team caring for patients with cardiac and vascular conditions, including vascular, electrical conduction, coronary, and structural heart conditions. The nurse provides direct patient care and procedural support in acute and non-acute situations, as well as dynamic pre- and post-procedure care and PACU recovery. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with four 10-hour shifts, a day/night rotating schedule, occasional late shifts, and Saturday rotation. The posting notes shift flexibility with minimal off-shift requirements.
Requirements
- New graduate nurse with less than one year of experience.
- Critical care experience or applicable medical/surgical experience required.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred.
Responsibilities
