About The Position

Highland Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the UR Medicine Geriatrics team. This is a full-time position. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Oversees the patient care nursing staff for UR Medicine Geriatrics Group, including staffing. Serves as a clinical resource for day-to-day clinical questions. In addition, performs staff nurse functions on a regular basis. Ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care as a member of the clinic leadership team.

Requirements

• Fulfilled the educational requirements to be a licensed RN in NYS
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Geriatrics.
• Current New York State RN license
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Able to use various computer systems and software programs including a practice appointment scheduling system, Excel and Word.

Nice To Haves

• BS preferred
• Management experience preferred.
• IDX experience preferred.
