About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery for an acute care hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract with 36 hours per week, scheduled as three 12-hour shifts. Day shifts are 6:45–19:15 and night shifts are 18:45–7:15. The listed start date is November 30, 2026, and there are nine openings. Estimated weekly travel pay is $2,187–$2,308 for 36 hours per week. Local candidates are offered $50.03–$53.18 per hour. VitalHire provides weekly direct deposit, a dedicated recruiter from submission through the final shift, and assistance with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current NRP certification.
- At least 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery experience.
