Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (California) required
- Minimum 2 years L&D experience required (postpartum experience required)
- Strong experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:3
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- NRP required
- AWHONN Intermediate required
Nice To Haves
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- AWHONN Advanced preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor fetal and maternal status during labor and delivery
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Administer medications and emergency interventions as needed
- Educate patients on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with OB physicians, anesthesiology, and neonatal teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic system
- Float to similar units as required
- Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols
