About The Position
Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit responsible for managing and delivering high acuity obstetric care, including labor management, delivery of high-risk patients, triaging OB patients, and circulating in the OR.
Requirements
- Active RN license with minimum two years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Certifications required: BLS, NRP, Intermediate FHM (AWHONN).
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records.
- Experience with high acuity obstetric patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring patients, including management of high-risk conditions such as hypertension and C-sections.
- Conduct cervical checks and interpret fetal monitoring strips.
- Assist with the delivery and initial care of newborns.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
