About The Position
The Labor & Delivery unit at UVMMC supports our network and region by performing 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year. The unit is equipped with 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms in-unit. This is a full-time, bargaining union position.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work night/eve shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Willingness to be on-call for 16 hours in a 4-week schedule.

- Experience in Labor & Delivery
- Familiarity with The Vermont Children's Hospital resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Support network and region with deliveries.
- Perform deliveries, with 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year.
- Work in 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms in-unit.
- Be on-call for 16 hours in a 4-week schedule.
