About The Position

Make an impact as part of the Bryn Mawr Hospital Labor and Delivery - Mother Baby Nursing Team! This position is within the Labor Delivery unit which handles over 2400 births per month and offers couplet care to new mothers in one of the 25 post-partum rooms. Our staff cares for both labor and post-partum patients along with lactation consultants and OB Technicians. As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working within this unit, your care and treatment of our patients is an integral part of their overall experience. Requirements

• One year of recent acute care nurse experience is required.
• RN Diploma, ASN required.
• PA RN license required.

Nice To Haves

• Labor Delivery and or Mother Baby experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
• NRP preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for labor and post-partum patients.
• Provide couplet care to new mothers.
• Work collaboratively with lactation consultants and OB Technicians.
• Contribute to a superior patient experience through safe, high-quality clinical care.
• Wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
