About The Position

Make an impact as part of the Lankenau Medical Center Labor and Delivery - Mother Baby Nursing Team! This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery | Mother Baby. U.S. News & World Report has recognized Main Line Health among the very best hospitals. The Labor Delivery and Post Partum staff handle over 2800 births per year which includes a high-risk patient population. Our unit includes: 10 labor rooms, 28 post-partum rooms, 12 bed APU and 3 operating rooms. The nursing team works collaboratively with Physicians, Medical Residents, OB Technicians and Lactation consultants to care for the patients. This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Requirements

One year of recent acute care nurse experience is required.
RN Diploma, ASN required.
PA RN license required.

Nice To Haves

Labor Delivery and or Mother Baby experience is preferred.
BSN preferred.
Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
NRP preferred

Responsibilities

Care and treatment of patients within the Labor and Delivery and Mother Baby unit.
Collaborate with Physicians, Medical Residents, OB Technicians and Lactation consultants.
Handle high-risk patient populations.
Wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
