About The Position

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care in a Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby unit. The RN will support patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care while ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the flexibility to work across both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
Active RN License required
Current BLS Certification required
NRP Certification required
Fetal Monitoring Certification (Advanced or Intermediate accepted) required
STABLE Certification required
Previous Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby nursing experience required
Ability to work in both Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby units
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions and promptly report significant changes
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures
Provide newborn care and educate mothers and families on postpartum and infant care
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Respond effectively to emergency situations and urgent patient care needs
Support patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
