This is a seasonal, per diem agreement for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The individual will work a 13-week seasonal assignment, requiring 3 scheduled 12-hour shifts per week. The role involves providing holistic, individualized care using the Nursing Process, demonstrating advanced clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills. The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, treatment, and care appropriate to the ages of patients served, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn populations. The position requires the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and cooperate with colleagues and supervisors. As a designated disaster service worker, the employee must assist in times of need and report perceived misconduct. The role also requires maintaining current knowledge of healthcare trends and adhering to ethical standards.
