Local Contract, Registered Nurse, RN, Labor and Delivery
About The Position
FirstChoice, Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide labor and delivery care at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. FirstChoice nurses fill short- and long-term assignments and may travel within their local region or nationally. This 13-week assignment starts ASAP and is scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The gross hourly rate is $71. The nurse must be willing and qualified to float throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. The role applies the professional practice process of assessment, outcomes identification and solution development, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while practicing independently within the nurse’s license, knowledge, and experience. The nurse remains accountable for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes; collaborates with stakeholders on quality and improvement; and adapts to new responsibilities, ideas, cultural differences, and competing priorities.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Michigan.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- EFM certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- At least 2 years of current labor and delivery experience.
- Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple locations or regions.
