About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Labor and Delivery unit. The unit accepts first-time travelers and offers both 36 and 48-hour work week options. The unit is equipped to handle high-risk labor and delivery cases, including OB Triage, Postpartum care, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients with high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes, for gestations of 34 weeks 0 days and greater. The role also involves assisting with C-Sections and External Cephalic Versions.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• FHM certification
• NRP certification
• Experience with high-risk labor and delivery conditions (pre-eclampsia, diabetes).
• Experience with gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater.
• Experience with C-Sections.
• Experience with External Cephalic Versions.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius.

Responsibilities

• Care of the laboring patient including high-risk conditions: pre-eclampsia, diabetes, etc. for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater.
• Manage OB Triage.
• Provide Postpartum care.
• Care for patients in a Level 2 - Special Care Nursery.
• Assist with C-Sections.
• Perform External Cephalic Versions.
