About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The schedule varies between 7 AM and 7 PM. A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty is required. Candidates must have AHA BLS and NRP certifications. Experience with AWHONN guidelines and Cerner is also required. Specific knowledge of pregnancy, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor is necessary. Northside Hospital has holiday expectations: MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) of the three. Compliance requirements include having certifications completed by Wednesday prior to the Monday start date, and a badge photo is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required AHA BLS certification.
• Required NRP certification.
• Experience with AWHONN guidelines.
• Cerner experience.
