About The Position

Join a Birthing Center as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The RN will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn transition. Utilizing critical thinking and independent clinical judgment, the RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers and infants in a dynamic birthing environment.

Requirements

• 2 years of current Birthing Center experience required
• Experience caring for laboring patients required
• Delivery experience, including newborn care at delivery required
• Postpartum experience caring for mothers and newborns required
• Active Michigan RN License required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• Ability to work rotating weekends, holidays, and possible call shifts required

Nice To Haves

• NRP Certification preferred (must be willing to obtain if not currently active)
• Prior travel experience preferred
