About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Intraoperative RN (OR/GI) position is a part-time role within the Surgery Center: GI Services department. The nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role utilizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience. The position involves supporting the Fond du Lac surgery team and potentially floating to Oshkosh Hospital Surgery if needed. The ideal candidate is an experienced intraoperative RN with a background in circulating in OR/GI departments, including orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, and pain management.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

Experience circulating in the OR/GI departments (orthopedics, general, ophthalmology, pain)

Responsibilities
