About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology department as part of the Associate Travel Program. The position is located in Brookfield, WI, at Ascension Southeast Wisconsin Hospital - Elmbrook. The schedule is a day shift, 8A - 4:30P, for 40 hours per week. The gross rate is up to $2,620 per week.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
1+ year of acute care experience
Applicable license and/or certification per contract requirements required

Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

Proficiently manage circulating and scrub nurse roles during complex cases such as angiography, biopsies, and stent placements.
Administer procedural sedation (conscious/moderate) and maintain continuous hemodynamic and vital sign assessment throughout the procedure.
Implement strict radiation safety protocols (ALARA) and serve as a patient advocate by ensuring informed consent and verifying NPO status.
Execute thorough pre-procedure assessments and deliver detailed post-operative education and recovery monitoring to prevent complications.
