About The Position
This position involves working in the Interventional Radiology department, providing comprehensive care for both outpatient and inpatient procedures. The role requires participation in call rotations and handling a diverse patient population with varied interventional needs.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Proficient in ICU care, moderate sedation, and medication titration.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner, is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, kyphoplasties, and angiograms.
- Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures in a high-acuity setting.
- Administer moderate sedation and manage sedation-related care.
- Participate in on-call rotations and cover emergency procedures as needed.
