About The Position
Seeking an RN with Interventional Radiology experience or an ICU RN with IR experience. Must possess Neuro IR and Level I trauma experience. Responsible for pre-op and recovery of patients post-conscious sedation and general anesthesia in the Radiology Pre and Post Procedural area. Competency in sterile field, Foley catheter insertion, and central line dressing changes is expected.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level I Trauma and Neuro IR experience mandatory
- Able to pass dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab on day 1
- Must have experience in Pre op/PACU and ICU
- Valid RN license to submit
Responsibilities
- Provide care for outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and tele
- Assist with body IR procedures such as chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ, IVC filters, and vascular access
- Monitor and treat patients undergoing angiograms, CT biopsy, ablations, US biopsies, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Operate under the guidance of hospitalists and intensivists for acute care settings
