About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work on the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), caring for adult patients (18 years and older). The unit has 64 beds, with 15 designated for neuro patients. Common diagnoses include Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, and Respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-operative care. The nurse will be responsible for operating specialty equipment like temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo Vents. Chronic vents are present, and RT will assist with weaning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
- Experience with travel nursing.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Current AHA ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS certification.
- Active NY RN license.
- NURSYS report.
- Licenses verification for all RN licenses.

Responsibilities
