Seasonal Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care - Nights
About The Position
This highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging nursing position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members from various specialties within the hospital to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County. It is a 46-bed hospital designed to expand as the community grows, offering services from emergency care and advanced surgery to imaging and labor and delivery. The hospital features 16 emergency department beds, two operating suites, and the latest digital and medical technologies. The organization strives to have a diverse workforce that reflects the communities it serves and welcomes the skills and talents of all groups.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification required
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification required
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- at least 2 years critical care RN experience
