About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit provides specialized care to critically ill patients, implementing clinical judgment and promoting patient health and safety in a 36-bed ICU.
Requirements
- Experience with EPIC Charting
- 2+ years of strong ICU experience is required.
- Possession of an Illinois RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to float as needed and adaptability to weekend and holiday requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and recording vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care plans.
