About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing care to surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma patients. This role requires strong critical thinking and assessment skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5-2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
• Epic experience and ability to work a 48-hour week contract.
• Comfortable with IV medications, including vasopressors and sedation.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to complex ICU patients, including those with ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and post-surgical conditions.
• Manage patients with hemodynamic lines, ventilators, and telemetry.
