About The Position
This is a highly specialized 20-bed unit providing care for patients who need a variety of open heart, vascular and thoracic surgeries. Special equipment includes devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
- Required AHA BLS & ACLS.
- NIH cert.

Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients undergoing a variety of open heart, vascular and thoracic surgeries.
- Operate special equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers.
- Work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
