About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week travel assignment in Towson, MD. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.

Requirements

Minimum of 2+ years recent ICU experience
Willingness to obtain NIHSS Certification within 48 hours if offered
Willingness to take mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered
Prior EPIC experience
Previous travel experience
Active American Heart Association ACLS is required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
COVID vaccine required - declinations not approved - must be state record
Drug screen and background check (facility required)

Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate patient progress
Administer treatments
Identify changes in a patient’s condition and react accordingly
Maintain patient records
Complete paperwork necessary for patient transfer out of the intensive care unit
