Registered Nurse, Inpatient (FT, Nights)
About The Position

This position involves managing, delegating, and coordinating quality nursing care, assisting in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, and developing effective working relationships with peers, leadership, and the interdisciplinary team. The role requires accountability for professional practice through educational activities, maintaining clinical competency, licensure, certifications, and mandatory education. It involves delivering family-centered, child-focused patient care using the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice. Participation in departmental and/or hospital-wide committees or task forces is expected, as is supporting organizational change and embodying the Scottish Rite CARE RITE values.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Current Texas RN license or eligible for a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
- American Heart Association BLS
- PALS certification
- Competent in Windows OS and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- EPIC experience required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- 2 or more years nursing experience preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
