About The Position

The Inpatient Unit RN safely provides and guides direct care of the patient in the inpatient hospital setting. This includes, but is not limited to, the implementation of plans of care, delivery of clinical interventions, and medication administration.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates as an active team member to support positive patient outcomes and experiences.
• Plans patient care to meet individual needs safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Considers cost containment by using facility resources appropriately.
• Maintains patient privacy and ensures absolute confidentiality of protected health information (PHI).
• Monitors for changes in patient conditions and carries out ordered interventions appropriately.
• Accurately documents patient conditions and responses to delivered clinical interventions.
• Keeps the multidisciplinary healthcare team updated on patient progress toward goals of care.
• Participates in mandatory facility trainings and continuing learning opportunities.
