About The Position
Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Surgical unit. This position offers up to a $20,000 bonus. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care using the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN also adheres to standards of professional performance such as ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice/nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health. Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire. The RN will assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, communicate with family members, and be responsible for the overall care of their patients. Requirements
- RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
- RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
- BLS within 90 days of hire (for Direct Care RNs)
