About The Position

Our Extremely Low Birth Weight Team helps care for “micro preemies” that are at high risk of respiratory, neurological, and feeding complications. This specialized team is essential in our Level 4 NICU and provides specialized support for some of our most vulnerable population. We are a level IV tertiary care NICU that attends to the complex care needs of more than 1400 fragile newborns per year. SHIFT: 7PM-7AM 36 Hours a Week NICU Experience Highly Preferred Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Collaborates in establishing patient goals and evaluates progress to ensure effective outcomes. Furthers professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards.

Requirements

LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
Relevant Work Experience
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program

Responsibilities

Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinates and implements care delivery while anticipating patient care needs across the continuum.
