About The Position

This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Registered Nurse will effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and collaborate in establishing patient goals and evaluating progress to ensure effective outcomes. This position also requires furthering professional growth by engaging in learning activities according to the Board of Nursing standards. The PCARD unit is a 19-bed unit that cares for pediatric patients ranging from birth to 18 years old who are being treated for a variety of congenital and acquired heart conditions. These patients often have life-long healthcare considerations requiring specialized skills and multidisciplinary care. Working on this unit means being part of an amazing interdisciplinary team that coordinates complex care for patients with special cardiac needs.

Requirements

  • LIC-Registered Nurse - Licensure-Others
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
  • 1 year of experience

Responsibilities
