Requirements

Active RN license in the state of LA required
BLS CPR required

Nice To Haves

ONS/OCN highly preferred
3 years of nursing experience in a clinic preferred
Oncology/Infusion nursing experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Coordinates and provides patient care.
Assesses and prioritizes patient needs.
Manages time effectively and pays strict attention to details.
Works independently and collaborates with others.
Performs patient assessment and documentation of IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies.
Administers IM and SC injections.
Performs central line access.
Performs dressing changes.
Conducts therapeutic phlebotomies.
Provides patient education.
Performs patient triage.
Coordinates care through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Performs nursing duties.
Coordinates patient care.
Utilizes EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
