Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of LA required
- BLS CPR required
Nice To Haves
- ONS/OCN highly preferred
- 3 years of nursing experience in a clinic preferred
- Oncology/Infusion nursing experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient needs
- Manage time effectively and pay strict attention to details
- Work independently and collaboratively with others
- Perform patient assessment and documentation of IV infusions of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies
- Administer IM and SC injections
- Perform central line access
- Perform dressing changes
- Perform therapeutic phlebotomies
- Provide patient education
- Perform patient triage
- Coordinate care through a multi-disciplinary approach
- Perform nursing duties
- Coordinate patient care
- Utilize EMR
