RN Registered Nurse Infusion - Noll Cancer Services Hematology Oncology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse Infusion provides patients with medications and fluids through intravenous injection. The role may include preparing and mixing solutions, monitoring fluid tubes and injection sites, and maintaining arterial catheters. The nurse monitors medication ingestion to ensure proper dosage and help avoid potential drug complications, and assesses the physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and their families. This is a part-time position in Noll Cancer Services Hematology Oncology at Penn State Health Medical Group in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The schedule is 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Wednesday through Tuesday, with no weekends; after that work period, one week is off and the schedule repeats.
Requirements
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment, or hold a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Obtain AHA BLS certification before the end of the orientation period.
